The Curse of Hunger Powers Level Hunger\nPowers\nAdditional Powers\n(Always applicable)\n1\nAll your movement speeds increase by 10 feet. In addition, you\nhave darkvision out to 60 feet.\n2\nYou can smell the brains of any creature within 15 feet of you\nthat isn’t a Construct, Elemental, Plant, or Undead (or that\ndoes not have a brain such as a jellyfish). You know the general\ndirection of the creature, but not the creature’s exact location.\n3 You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.\n4\nYou deal an extra 1d6 acid damage with your Slam and Bite\nattacks.\n5\nYou don’t provoke opportunity attacks when moving out of\nanother creature’s reach.\n6 You have advantage on ability checks and saving throws.\n7 You have advantage on attack rolls.\n8\nYou have resistance to all piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing\ndamage from non-magical attacks.
Natural Weapons Beginning at 1st level, you gain natural weapons which you can use to make unarmed strikes. You gain the following natural weapon attacks: \nSlam. Your Slam attack deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning\ndamage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.\nBite. Your Bite attack deals 1d12 + your Strength modifier piercing\ndamage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.\nYou can infuse your Bite with a hint of your Raider's Curse a number of\ntimes per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus. You can wait until after\nyou roll the d20 before deciding to infuse the attack, but must decide\nbefore the Game Master says whether the roll succeeds or fails.\nOn a hit, in addition to taking your normal Bite damage, if the target is\na creature other than a Construct, Elemental, Plant, or Undead, it must\nmake a Wisdom saving throw or have a small portion of your Raider's Curse\npassed on to it, causing it to become enraged for 1 minute.\nAn enraged creature attacks the nearest creature to it at the start of\neach of its turns. An enraged creature can repeat the Wisdom saving throw\nat the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The\nDC for the saving throw equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your\nConstitution modifier.
Risen Dead As an Undead creature you do not “die” in the same fashion as your\nHumanoid companions might. When you are reduced to 0 hit points you\nenter a dreamlike, unconscious state. While in this state, you do not make\ndeath saving throws but you cannot regain hit points by any means other\nthan the consumption of brains.\nIf fresh brains are fed to you by a creature using its action to feed you,\nand the brains were harvested by a creature with a CR of ¼ or higher within\nthe last 24 hours (or otherwise preserved by some magic or class feature),\nyou are revived immediately with 1 hit point, regaining consciousness.\nIf you are buried while in this unconscious state for 10 days in a\ncemetery, you regain 1 hit point at the end of the 10 days, regaining\nconsciousness.\nIf you remain in the dreamlike, unconscious state unburied for 24 hours\nor more, you are destroyed, your body dissolving into a mass of undead,\nrotting flesh.
Trance While you do not need to sleep, you must spend at least 4 hours during a\nlong rest in a trance during which you could spend time keeping watch or\n(subtly) preparing your batch of brains for the next day. After resting this\nway, you gain the same benefits that a human does from 8 hours of sleep. If\nyou do not rest in this way, you gain 1 Hunger Power (instead of the usual\nlevels of exhaustion associated with a lack of sleep).
Raider's Shape As a Brain Raider's you have a gaunt or sickly appearance, though you can\nusually hide your Undead visage with a heavy cloak, mask, or hat. Drawing\nupon your unholy powers you can more wholly transform into an Undead\ncreature, revealing your unhallowed nature. When you harness this power,\nyour body makes a visible transformation, becoming more obviously undead\nand rotten.\nYou can use a bonus action to transform into your Raider's Shape for a\nduration specified in the Class Features table. You can revert to your normal\nform earlier, using a bonus action to change back. You automatically revert\nto your normal form if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or are\ndestroyed.\nThere is an upside to your transformation: while transformed, your\nSlam and Bite attacks are infused with acid damage, dealing an additional\n1d6 acid damage on a hit. When you reach 15th level, this damage type\nchanges to necrotic.\nIn addition, you can use features granted to you by your Hunger Powers\nwhile transformed.\nWhen you transform into your Raider's Shape you gain 1 Hunger Power.
Undead Flesh Your partially rotting flesh is stiffened and rigid, granting you defensive\ncapabilities. While not wearing armour, your AC equals 10 + your\nConstitution Modifier.
Undead Type Regardless of your racial features, being brought back from the dead or\ncursed with Raider's Features makes you an Undead creature; like it or not,\nthat’s what you are now. Your type is Undead.\n20
Darkvision Thanks to your orc blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Relentless Endurance When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Savage Attacks When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon's damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
Criminal Contact You have a reliable and trustworthy contact who acts as your liaison to a network of other criminals. You know how to get messages to and from your contact, even over great distances; specifically, you know the local messengers, corrupt caravan masters, and seedy sailors who can deliver messages for you.
Chef Time spent mastering the culinary arts has paid off, granting you the following benefits:\nIncrease your Constitution or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.\nYou gain proficiency with cook's utensils if you don't already have it.\nAs part of a short rest, you can cook special food, provided you have ingredients and cook's utensils on hand. You can prepare enough of this food for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus. At the end of the short rest, any creature who eats the food and spends one or more Hit Dice to regain hit points regains an extra 1d8 hit points.\nWith one hour of work or when you finish a long rest, you can cook a number of treats equal to your proficiency bonus. These special treats last 8 hours after being made. A creature can use a bonus action to eat one of those treats to gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.\n
Rancid Breath As an action, you can exhale a cloud of noxious gas in a\n15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a Constitution\nsaving throw or become poisoned for 1 minute. Once you have used this\nfeature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest. The DC for the\nsaving throw equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution\nmodifier.
